Remembering 9/11: For 10-year anniversary, please share your story
This Sept. 11 will mark 10 years since the terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. To honor the anniversary, we would like to hear your memories.
Everyone remembers where they were when they found out about the attacks. Where were you? Do you know anyone who was changed forever by that day? Who are the firefighters, survivors and heroes you'll always remember? Is there someone you think is a part of this story who you want to know more about? Please tell us by posting a comment.

I remember that day I had just gotten to work and everyone was standing abound the tv watching it I was stun could not believe what i was seeing Then my thoughts went to my children where are they i wanted to drive home as fast as i could just to hold them and know that they were safe. Two of my sons were flying home that day one from New York and one from the state of Washington. As news came of grounding all flights i tried endlessly to reach my sons. I did go home my school age children were sent home and together we prayed for the families of those who died and waited by the phones to hear about my two sons. Both had not taking off yet so they were safe. I will never forget that day when we all learn to love one another.
ReplyDeleteMy saga is long, boring and typical, though I managed to write nearly 2000 words about it. It can all be found by clicking the name of my post. Part cynical, part appreciative, but all honest.
